Boris Johnson says he is “looking at” how the government can reduce the cost of household energy bills amid soaring prices.

The prime minister told reporters during a visit to a pharmacy in Uxbridge on Monday that he had discussed cost of living pressures with Rishi Sunak and believes ministers have “got to help people, particularly on low incomes”.
