Boris Johnson promises inquiry to investigate how the UK is handled coronavirus

Boris Johnson has promised an independent inquiry into the way the government has handled the coronavirus outbreak, saying it would be “in the future” without giving any details. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

And there was no word on whether any hearings would be held in public.

Campaigners say such a process is crucial to reflect on what went wrong, and to prevent such a tragedy happening again on a similar or greater scale.
