The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer clash in PMQs over coronavirus Test and Trace” – below is their description.
Sir Keir Starmer kicked off PMQs by challenging the Prime Minister on Test and Trace, noting that three months ago he had said it was a game-changer in stopping the virus. “Yesterday…he said Test and Trace has very little or nothing to do with the spread of the disease”, said the Labour leader. These are very different positions, so which is it? Boris Johnson said it is “an obvious fact” that the disease is transmitted by human contact, but the improved testing system means “we can see in granular detail, where the virus is breaking out”, which is why local lockdowns can be taken. The Prime Minister then blasted the Labour leader for “unseemly and unjustified” attacks on the Test and Trace teams.
