Boots confirms 4,000 jobs to be cut

Retail expert Martin Newman spoke to Ian King on more than 5,000 jobs being lost across the high street.

Boots has said 4,000 jobs are to go and John Lewis have laid out their plan to close eight stores ,including Birmingham’s which opened five years ago, putting 1,300 jobs at risk.

The author of 100 Practical Ways to Improve Customer Experience spoke about his thoughts on the ‘awful’ news.
