The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Bolton pubs and restaurants told to shut by 10pm as Covid lockdown restrictions are reintroduced” – below is their description.
Hospitality venues are now restricted to takeaway-only in Bolton as part of new measures aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus in the town, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced. Mr Hancock confirmed that there would be a requirement for all venues in Bolton to close by 10pm, and that additional care home and hospital visit restrictions would be introduced. The Health Secretary also warned that social distancing must be “the first line of defence” in the fight against coronavirus, and expressed his concern about the recent spike in cases, driven largely by young people. “This virus thrives on complacency,” Mr Hancock told the House of Commons. “We must all redouble our efforts so we can get this virus on the back foot.” Get the latest headlines: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/ Telegraph.co.uk and YouTube.com/TelegraphTV are websites of The Telegraph, the UK’s best-selling quality daily newspaper providing news and analysis on UK and world events, business, sport, lifestyle and culture.
