The Boao Forum for Asia is celebrating its 20th anniversary. On February 27 two decades ago, the forum opened with 26 Asian countries and Australia. It sought to bridge Asia and the world. In the past 20 years, it served as a platform for leaders from government, private enterprises and academia to discuss economic, social, environmental and related issues. Today, we bring you an interview series with the forum’s key figures – Ban Ki-Moon, the current chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia who was the secretary-general of the United Nations from 2007 to 2016; former People’s Bank of China governor Zhou Xiaochuan; and, former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.CGTN YouTube Channel
