If you’re looking for an adorable new addition to your family, Bessie the Shih Tzu may be the answer.

The 10-year-old former stray has had both eyes removed after contracting a serious disease, but is now fit, healthy and looking for a home to care for her in her golden years.

The Animal Welfare League Queensland needs to raise $80,000 by the end of the month to continue caring for special animals like Bessie.
