Black Lives Matter Protests Continue in London over Weekend

(AP) Thousands of people marched through central London on Saturday as part of the Black Lives Matter protests, which are taking place across Britain for a fourth weekend.

Anti-racism demonstrators gathered in cities including London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

“Until there is justice I will keep fighting. There just needs to be a lot of reform within the UK, within the US, within the world to do with racial equality,” said 18-year-old student Ethy Lynch Barley, who attended a demonstration in Hyde Park.

Several thousand people gathered in Hyde Park, sitting on the grass and listening to speakers, before setting off on a boisterous, peaceful march to Trafalgar Square.

A smaller group marched from south London, near the U.S. Embassy.
