Bipartisan support pushes $130bn economic rescue package to final vote | ABC News

A massive scheme to subsidise the wages of almost half the workforce has cleared the House of Representatives, and is expected to easily pass the Senate.

The economic stimulus package is the biggest in Australian history, with The Federal Government to give employers $1,500 dollars a fortnight for each employee they keep on their books during the COVID-19 pandemic.
