Leigh Sales interviews Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates as he sets out his thoughts on how to reach zero emissions in 30 years. Mr Gates told 7.30 the cost of “going green” globally would be over $5 trillion, unless there is new technology to help.

He wants to see countries agree to zero emissions by 2050, even if leaders do not agree on how to get there.
