Bill 96: Quebec premier says health care will remain the same for anglophones, immigrants

Global News published this video item, entitled “Bill 96: Quebec premier says health care will remain the same for anglophones, immigrants” – below is their description.

Quebec Premier François Legault is defending Bill 96 again, saying critics of the legislation have it wrong and insisting that access to health care for anglophones and immigrants will remain the same once the bill is passed.

Bill 96 has drawn anger across the province, with protests taking place against the bill and people calling for it to be scrapped. However, Legault says despite the concerns from the anglophone community, access to services in English will not be eliminated.

Elizabeth Zogalis explains more on what the premier has to say and why his defence of the bill is not wavering.
