Big jump in losses as punters return to the pokies | ABC News

There’s been a significant increase in the amount Tasmanians are losing on poker machines since venues were allowed to reopen in June.

Losses increased from $14 million in July last year to $19 million this July.

The figures have reignited debate over increasing protection for problem gamblers.
