U.S. President Joe Biden stressed the importance of America’s relationship with Mexico in a virtual meeting with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday.

Biden told Obrador that both countries are “stronger when we work together,” whether it be on issues at the shared border or bringing the novel coronavirus pandemic under control.

The president declined to tell reporters whether the U.S. would be sending COVID-19 vaccines to Mexico, but said the two leaders would “talk about that.”
