U.S. Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden spoke briefly with reporters on Thursday night, following his debate with President Donald Trump in Nashville, Tennessee. Biden said he thought moderator Kristen Welker did a good job keeping the debate moving and that he had a chance to speak to the American public, but ultimately the public will judge how the debate went. Biden was also asked about energy policy and fossil fuels. He said it will take years for the U.S. to actually stop using oil and other fossil fuels, and that many new jobs will be created during that transition, meaning people working for the oil and fossil fuel industries won’t lose their jobs.
