    President Joe Biden honored military men and women in Virginia on Friday, ahead of Memorial Day weekend.

    “You make up 1% of the population, and you defend 99% of the rest of us,” he said. “We owe you.”

    He made the remarks during a speech at Base Langley-Eustis on May 28, 2021, in Hampton, Virginia.
