Biden delivers remarks on US sanctions against Russia | FULL

Global News published this video item, entitled “Biden delivers remarks on US sanctions against Russia | FULL” – below is their description.

U.S. President Joe Biden discussed sanctions on Russia Thursday, after the administration announced the expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats and sanctions against dozens of people and companies in response to last year’s election interference and hacking of federal agencies.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday also addressed the intelligence community’s look into reports that Russia encouraged the Taliban to attack U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan. She said they have “low to moderate confidence” in these reports, partly due to reliance on detainee reporting and the challenges of gathering information and data.
