Joe Biden says President Donald Trump testing positive for coronavirus is a “bracing reminder” of the seriousness of the virus. “It’s not about being a tough guy,” Biden said at an event in Michigan, “It’s about doing your part. Wearing a mask is not only going to protect you, but also protects those around you.” He also says he’s had two coronavirus tests, and both came back negative. The president tweeted early Friday that he and his wife, Melania Trump, tested positive for coronavirus. Biden was tested after spending nearly 90 minutes onstage with the president during their debate earlier this week. Biden said he wished the president and the First Lady a “quick and full” recovery and that “this is not a matter of politics.” Biden said it was a “reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously. It is not going away automatically.” “We can save one hundred thousand lives in the next 100 days,” he went on to say, “if everyone wears a mask in public.” “This cannot be a partisan moment,” he said. “It must be an American moment. We have to come together as a nation.” Subscribe to The Telegraph on YouTube ► https://bit.ly/3idrdLH
