With coronavirus resurfacing, Belgium’s National Security Council has reinstated measures in place earlier in the year. These include restricting the ‘social bubble’ an individual can socialise with, from 15 people down to 5 from next Tuesday, and requiring people to shop on their own.
FRANCE 24 correspondent Pierre Benazet says the country is reporting an average of nearly 280 new cases a day, compared with less than 100 at the start of July.

It is divided into three highly autonomous regions: the Flemish Region in the north, Wallonia in the south, and the Brussels-Capital Region.
