Anger over the forced landing of a Ryanair plane in Belarus is overtaking today’s EU summit in Brussels. That plane was travelling from Athens, Greece to Vilnius, Lithuania when Belarusian authorities flagged what turned out to be a false bomb alert, forcing the plane to land in Minsk. Once on the ground, authorities arrested an opposition activist, who was among the passengers.
