    This year’s EU Parliament Prize, recognising defenders of human rights, was awarded to the Belarus opposition. FRANCE 24’s EU correspondent Dave Keating says the prize is a strong sign of the EU’s support for the Belarus opposition, and a condemnation of President Alexander Lukashenko, who is still refusing to hold fresh elections.
