China says it’s built a great wall of solidarity against the pandemic.
But it’s sounding a bit less positive about it’s economic recovery. It’s announced a relatively modest stimulus package, designed to keep workers employed over new infrastructure.
That’s no encouraging for Australia exporters, who are anxious for certainty after this week’s trade disputes with Beijing.
Barley exports are far from the minds of Hong Kong residents, however, with the Chinese Communist Party planning a major intervention to cement control over the region.
