A “#datiehua” folk art display, which literally means to “beat the iron flower” and involves splashing molten metal to create sparkling streaks of light, was staged recently in Yongjing County, northwest #China’s #Gansu Province. Sparks rained down as performers sprayed molten iron to simulate fireworks. The performance is a traditional way of celebrating the Chinese New Year.
