Battle for Mosul: France reaffirms support to fight ISIL

Iraqi forces say they are making steady progress in the northern city of Mosul in the battle against ISIL.

Soldiers are now in control of 60 percent of the city’s eastern districts.

Iraq’s international partners, including France, have reiterated their commitment to help in the fight against the armed group.
