Global News published this video item, entitled “Barrie tornado: Community comes together to support displaced residents” – below is their description.
It’s been three days since an EF2 tornado tore through a neighbourhood in Barrie, Ont., leaving dozens of homes heavily damaged, families displaced and some people injured, though thankfully there have been no reported deaths.
People are now shifting to the recovery phase, many residents are coming together to support those affected, including a GoFundMe having been set up for at least one family.
As Brittany Rosen reports, a command post has been set up to help people get supplies needed as they try to pick up their lives.
