At least six Rohingya Muslims including four children were killed and thousands have been forced out of temporary shelters, after landslides and flooding struck a refugee camp in southern Bangladesh. The incident happened July 27, 2021, amid heavy monsoon rains. Nearly one million Rohingyas who fled a 2017 military crackdown in neighbouring Myanmar now live in the border district of Cox’s Bazar, the world’s largest refugee settlement.
