A ministry spokesperson says all members of the Austrian government will be tested as a precautionary measure. Schallenberg’s infection has heightened concerns that Friday’s EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting may have spread the virus further. On Friday, Belgium’s foreign minister went into self-isolation after the meeting. Austria is in the middle of the second wave of infections, recording over 2,000 cases in the past 24 hours.
