Members of the Australian Defence Force stopped for a prayer this week as part of flag raising ceremony at a new health camp in Kot Addu, Punjab, Pakistan.
A local imam led the prayers, assisted by Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Padre, Wing Commander Mark Willis.
Around 200 people a day are being treated at the facility, mainly for diarrhoea, malaria and skin conditions.
Australian Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan, Rebekah Grindlay, spoke to the doctors and nurses from AusAID and the ADF in the presence of local soldiers and religious leaders, praising them for their co-operation.
