Australian MPs lobby Britain to release Wikileaks founder Julian Assange | ABC News

The campaign for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to be returned to Australia is building momentum in the UK.

In less than a week, the US government will begin arguing for his extradition on espionage charges.

Two Australian MPs lobbying for Assange to be released will meet him in prison tomorrow.

As Europe correspondent Samantha Hawley reports, they have the support of of the British Opposition Leader.
