ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Australia records two cases of Monkeypox, growing numbers detected throughout Europe | The World” – below is their description.
Australia has recorded two cases of Monkeypox – one in Melbourne, and one in Sydney. It comes after a string of cases in Europe and North America. The disease is most common in parts of central and west Africa, and while cases have occasionally been found in other parts of the world, they’re often linked with travel. Virologist Charlotte Houldcroft from the University of Cambridge tells The World the unusual spread of the disease is baffling health authorities.
