Nova Scotia officials are set to outline the province’s plan as it prepares to lift border restrictions to the rest of Atlantic Canada on June 23., a week ahead of schedule.
The province had intially said it would open to the rest of Atlantic Canada as early as June 30. It is currently on track to reopen to the rest of Canada by July 14.
Nova Scotia is set to move into Phase 2 of its provincial reopening plan on Wednesday, with more restrictions loosening — including those on provincial gathering limits.
Under Phase 2 of the reopening plan, restaurants can open to patrons for indoor dining with a maximum of 10 people per table and all retail businesses, gyms and fitness facilities can open to 50 per cent capacity.
On Tuesday, the province reported four new cases of COVID-19.
