Sky News Business Editor Ticky Fullerton says global markets are soaring, returning to near or above pre-pandemic levels as news around vaccines continues to remain promising and the US government’s transition looks likely to be smooth. “Within today, the ASX finished up 0.6 per cent but what the market’s talking about is we actually hit 6713, which was a high, and actually, was high enough to wipe out all of our losses through the year,” she said. “We finished up just a few points short of that … the expectation is it’s going to go up again.”
