Southeast Asian nations have called for an immediate end to violence against civilians in Myanmar.
ASEAN leaders have come up with a five-point plan after meeting the head of Myanmar’s military government, in Jakarta.
However, ASEAN tried to rein in Myanmar’s military before, in the early ’90s and ’00s, but to little avail.
