    In a video that swiftly went viral, Hollywood star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger compared US President Trump’s actions in encouraging the ‘insurrection’ to 1938’s Kristallnacht – the Night of Broken Glass.

    Kristallnacht was part of a wave of attacks on Jews across Germany and Austria that resulted in dozens of deaths and thousands being detained. RT speaks to Mary Kluk, director of South Africa’s Durban Holocaust & Genocide Centre, who thinks such historical parallels are misguided.
