Black rights militia the Not F**king Around Coalition (NFAC) marched through the streets of #Lafayette, #Louisiana on Saturday. Rallied and commanded by their charismatic leader, John ‘Grandmaster Jay’ Johnson, approximately 400 members of the #NFAC – many armed with semi-automatic rifles – gathered to protest the fatal shooting of #trayford Pellerin by police on August 21. The Atlanta-based group, which wears an all-black uniform, is mainly made up of military veterans and was formed in response to police brutality against African Americans in the #US. The rally passed almost without incident, although one NFAC member was reportedly arrested after his firearm accidentally discharged during the march.
