  • Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Argentina beat Brazil 1-0 to win Copa America” – below is their description.

Argentina have won their first major football trophy since 1993.

They have beaten defending champions Brazil 1-0 in the Copa America final.

Angel Di Maria scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute.

The win also means 34-year-old player Lionel Messi has finally won an international title with his country.

There was widespread criticism of the decision to allow Brazil to stage the monthlong event because of its high numbers of coronavirus cases.
