McDonald’s has run out of milkshakes at restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales, with the fast-food chain blaming the shortages on supply chain issues.

In a statement, the chain said it was “working hard” to limit the impact on deliveries.

The disruption is impacting the availability of shakes and bottled drinks at its 1,250 outlets.
