    Dr. Nicaise Ndembi, head of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention Vaccine Effort, said Africa has secured about $270 million doses of vaccines, and its target is to vaccinate 60 percent of the African population, at least 35 percent by the end of 2021, and then the following 25 percent next year. He also said a pan-African survey of 15,000 respondents in 15 African countries shows public confidence in vaccinations.
