Anti-Taliban forces say they have recaptured three districts in the northern Afghan province of Baghlan. It’s about 180 kilometers north of Kabul. The resistance forces say they’re also moving towards other districts. Dozens of Taliban fighters were reportedly killed or injured. It’s the first assault launched against the Taliban since they took Kabul last weekend. Former Prime Minister Gulbuddin Hekmatyar said on Friday political leaders and the insurgent group will begin formal talks. The Taliban have said they want to form an inclusive government.
