  • RT published this video item, entitled “Anti-lockdown riots plague Netherlands for the third night” – below is their description.

Anti-lockdown riots have broken out for the third consecutive night in the Netherlands, with fires lit, police vehicles burned, and windows smashed. There were clashes with law enforcement agents when officers moved to end the protest.

More than 200 people were arrested during Sunday night’s unrest, and 70 more on Monday. The riots began last Saturday, when protesters set a Covid-19 testing center ablaze after new restrictions were imposed. These included a curfew between the hours of 21:00 to 04:30, unless a citizen has reason to leave their home for work or in an emergency – the first time a curfew has been introduced in the Netherlands since World War II.
