South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Another US delegation meets Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, soon after Pelosi visit” – below is their description.
A group of five US bipartisan congressional lawmakers arrived in Taiwan on August 14, 2022, less than two weeks after US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made her controversial visit to the self-governed island. Led by Democratic Senator Ed Markey, the delegation met with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen and other senior leaders of the island during their visit, as part of their Asia tour. Pelosi’s trip had triggered an unprecedented response from Beijing, which launched its largest-ever military drills in the Taiwan Strait.
