Flight Path Protest: Around 100 angry residents have gathered at Brisbane Airport’s headquarters, protesting the noise in the surrounding area’s flight path.

Greens candidate for Griffith, Max Chandler-Mather – Greens, says locals weren’t properly consulted before the airport’s new runway opened last year.

“We are actually achieving most flights over the bay, just as we had promised and as the system was designed to do. Our hope always, is to try to get more over the bay, and as I said that’s what we will continue to endeavour to do.” – Brisbane Airport Executive, Rachel Crowley.
