Mining magnate Andrew “Twiggy” Forrest says it will be a cop out if the federal government fails to commit to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 at the cop 26 climate conference in two weeks time.
Mr Forrest and other business leaders will be among the power players at the united nation’s conference at Glasgow in Scotland which kicks off at the end of the month.
The Fortescue Metals founder thinks green hydrogen could replace fossil fuels as a major power source by 2030.
