Ms Suu Kyi was taken into custody in February when army leaders suddenly launched a coup. Htwe Htwe Thein, associate professor in international business at Curtin University, tells The World anti-coup activists are resorting to isolated attacks rather than mass protests to continue pressure against the country’s military junta.
