One of Europe’s best-known party spots is holding its first major dance event since the coronavirus outbreak began.
More than a thousand people are expected Amsterdam’s largest music venue – the “Ziggo Dome” – during the weekend.
Life felt a bit more normal for Saturday’s attendees for a few hours, before they returned – re-energised – to the COVID-19 lockdown.

During the 2020 Covid-19 epidemic, lockdown has come to mean the practice of attempting to control transmission of the virus by means of restricting people’s movement and activities on a broad scale, usually on a national or state-wide basis.
