American struggles as coronavirus cases increase and economy stalls | ITV News

One country still firmly on the quarantine list is the United States.

And there is no evidence that will change any time soon, with the number of cases continuing to rise faster than anywhere else.

The struggles faced by Americans are made worse by a stalling economy, yet to recover despite the loosening of lockdowns.

In California, residents are under fire on both fronts – the state has had more infections than any other, and lockdown restrictions have returned.

The results are painful, both financially and emotionally.
