It’s one of China’s largest inland freshwater lakes and home to 32 different species of fish. Fishing season in Bosten Lake usually lasts from July 1 to the following February. During this period, fishermen get up early in the morning and sail to the middle of the lake. One small boat can catch as much as three tonnes of fish in a single day. Thanks to the favorable environment and fine water quality, the fish in this lake tastes fresh and succulent. Let’s take a look at how locals make a delicious all-fish feast.
