The All Ordinaries index rose another half a per cent to 7080.9 today. When the Chinese government revealed the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan on January 7, it was 6943.5, so while there’s been a lot of worried talk about the potential impact of the epidemic on markets and the economy, Australian shares are actually up 2 per cent.
