All 21 passengers survive plane crash in Texas

Global News published this video item, entitled “All 21 passengers survive plane crash in Texas” – below is their description.

All 21 passengers escaped safely after a plane bound for Boston crashed near Houston Executive Airport as it tried to take off. According to officials, the plane ran off the runway during the attempted take off.

Sgt. Stephen Woodard said two people were sent to hospital, but officials have said there were no serious injuries.

Tim Gibson with the Emergency Services District said while an investigation will take place, he was thankful for the result.

“Any time you have a plane that doesn’t make a landing on a runway like it should, we’re always expecting the worst but hoping for the best and today we absolutely positively got the best outcome we could hope for in this incidence,” Gibson said.

Aerial video captured the extent of the crash, with multiple parts of the plane engulfed in flames as firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire.
