Al-Shabab attack at Mogadishu hotel kills 15

At least 15 people were killed and another 20 wounded in a coordinated attack on Nasa Hablod hotel in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.

A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at the hotel gate, which was followed by a second explosion with attackers fighting their way inside the building.

The armed group Al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attack.
