Rescuers are trying to reach survivors after more than a thousand people have been killed in an earthquake in Afghanistan.
People are digging by hand through rubble to search for people alive, in areas already dealing with devastating poverty, hunger and a crumbling health system.
The earthquake hit after 10pm on Tuesday in the Paktika region of the country near the border with Pakistan.
Sky’s Inzamam Rashid reports from Islamabad.
